Jackie Weaver

When Jackie Weaver was diagnosed with seriously advanced cancer in 2005, and was expected to succumb to it within four weeks, two remarkable events occurred. Firstly, she beat the cancer and secondly, during her incredible fight for survival, she has managed to unleash an inherent talent of being able to communicate telepathically with animals. Her debut book: Animal-Insight – Changing Lives, is a collection of 50 true cases of animal communications she has worked on.

Jackie is in her forties; a former veterinary nurse and married to ex flat jockey, Bob Weaver, who is now an Equine Dentist. For many years Jackie held the horses for Bob, but this came to a stop when she was diagnosed in with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2005. By the time she was diagnosed it had spread to her liver, spleen and bones, and she was critically ill. She endured 6 months of chemotherapy but, surrounded with love, laughter and a lot of positive thinking, she miraculously pulled through and found she had been saved for a reason.

Amazingly, Jackie's telepathic gift has been recognised and recorded during one of her many hospital visits. Jackie has even bravely offered herself up for scientific research. “There is nothing weird, spooky or supernatural about this,” Jackie says, “It’s as simple as me having a ‘chat’ with an animal. Like a friend, clients introduce their pets to me, I have a chat and get to know them, and then I tell their owners what they said.”

Jackie  has also recently made her debut on TV. Her current project involves ‘talking to’ 80 celebrities' pets in 80 days, so there are bound to be plenty more sightings of this gifted lady on our screens in the future.

William Pascoe

William Pascoe is half English, half Australian which makes things very agreeable during an Ashes test series. He is, by trade, an immunoparasitologist which totally fails to explain his fascination with cosmology and astrophysics. He gave up research science long ago and professional science in general some time after that. He now works for the Health and Safety Executive and has, arguably, one of the most interesting jobs on the planet, which totally fails to explain his fascination with creative writing and his inexplicable desire to write novels. He is an enigma, even to himself.

Chris Clode

Originating from southern England, after leaving university, Chris became a teacher in Merseyside and Bristol, where he became politically radicalised by the inequality and poverty he saw.
